How money challenges work
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This page explains the money challenges in OLE! Catch the Thief (the "Game") at ole.classes.ng: how your wallet works, how to host or join a challenge, how winners are decided and paid, and how to withdraw. The Game is run by Classes.ng, Lagos, Nigeria ("we", "us").
1. Who can play
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must be signed in with Google.
- You must have finished 5 normal runs, so you know how the road works before you play for money.
- Real money play is off on every account until an adult switches it on. To switch it on, tap the dark Real money challenges (18+) bar on the home screen, read the rules, tick "I am 18 years or older" and "I accept these rules", then tap Switch on real money play.
- Until it is switched on, the Challenge button opens the free practice duels (game money only).
- One person, one account. Using more than one account for money play is not allowed (see Fair play rules).
Switching it off, and the family lock. Tap the same bar, then Real money settings. You can switch real money play off at any time. You can also choose Switch off and lock for 7 days: real money play then stays off for 7 days and nobody can switch it back on before then, not even from the same account. This is there for parents, in case a child uses the account.
When you switch off, you leave every challenge that has not started yet and your stake comes back. If you were the host, that challenge is cancelled and everyone who joined gets their stake back. A challenge that has already started can still be played. The money in your wallet stays yours, and you can still withdraw it while real money play is off or locked.
2. Your wallet
Your wallet holds real naira that you can use for challenges and withdraw to your bank. It is completely separate from the game naira you pick up during runs. Game naira is only for the leaderboard: it has no cash value and can never be moved into your wallet.
Adding money:
- Tap Challenge, then Add money (or open your wallet and tap Add money).
- Choose an amount. The smallest deposit is ₦200. You can add up to ₦20,000 a day.
- You pay on Flutterwave's secure payment page, by card, bank transfer or USSD (the options depend on what Flutterwave offers at the time). We never see your card details.
- After paying, you come back to the Game and the money shows in your wallet. If you closed the page early, the money still arrives once Flutterwave confirms the payment, usually within a few minutes.
- If a payment fails or you cancel it, nothing is added and nothing is taken.
Your wallet screen shows what you can use now, what is waiting in challenges, and a history of every movement (deposits, stakes, wins, refunds and withdrawals).
3. Hosting a challenge
Tap Challenge, then Host a challenge, and choose:
- Stake per player: ₦100, ₦200, ₦500 or ₦1,000. Everybody in the challenge pays the same stake.
- Number of players: from 2 to 20.
- Time for people to join: 15 minutes, 1 hour or 6 hours.
- Road: Oshodi or Lekki.
Before you pay, the Game shows how much the winner (or the top 3) will get if the challenge fills. When you create it, your stake leaves your wallet and you get a link to send on WhatsApp, X or anywhere else.
- As host you get 1% of the pot as a thank-you when the challenge is played (it comes out of our fee, not out of the prizes).
- You can cancel your challenge any time before it starts. Everybody who joined, including you, gets their stake back.
- You can host up to 3 challenges at the same time.
We also run official OLE challenges, marked with a ⭐, often at a fixed time every day.
4. Joining a challenge
- Open a challenge link someone sent you, or pick one from Open now in the Challenge screen.
- Each challenge shows the stake, how many have joined, the time left to join, and the cashout now and if full.
- Tap Join and pay. Your stake leaves your wallet straight away.
- You can leave before the challenge starts and get your stake back. After leaving, you cannot join that same challenge again.
- Two accounts on the same phone cannot join the same challenge.
5. When a challenge starts
- It starts as soon as it is full.
- If the join time ends before it is full, it still starts as long as at least 2 players have joined. The pot is then smaller, and the cashout is worked out from the players who actually joined.
- If fewer than 2 players have joined when the time ends, the challenge is cancelled and every stake comes back to its owner's wallet.
6. Playing your run
- When the challenge starts, every player has 2 hours to play. The Game (and an email, if you get our emails) tells you when it has started.
- Open the challenge and tap Play my run now. You get one run only.
- Everybody gets the same road: the same traffic, obstacles, money drops and power-ups, in the same order. Gbera still reacts to how close you are, so no two runs are exactly alike, but nobody gets an easier road by luck.
- Your score is the money you pick up in that run (the "Money wey you pack" line at the end of the run).
- Once your run starts, it counts. If you quit or close the Game, you cannot play again. A run that never finishes scores ₦0.
- Play where your network is good. If your network drops at the end of a run, the Game keeps the result and sends it when the network comes back.
7. Scores stay hidden until the end
While the challenge is being played, you only see who has played, not their scores. You see your own score. All the scores and places appear together when everybody has played, or when the 2 hours end. This way nobody can wait to see what they need to beat.
8. Who wins and how much
The pot is the stake times the number of players who joined. We keep 10% of the pot as our fee. The rest is paid out:
| Players in the challenge | Who gets paid |
|---|---|
| 2 to 5 | The best run takes everything left after the fee |
| 6 to 20 | 1st gets 60%, 2nd gets 25%, 3rd gets 15% of what is left after the fee |
Examples:
- 5 players × ₦1,000 = ₦5,000 pot. Fee ₦500. The winner gets ₦4,500.
- 10 players × ₦500 = ₦5,000 pot. Fee ₦500. 1st gets ₦2,700, 2nd ₦1,125, 3rd ₦675.
- 3 players × ₦200 = ₦600 pot. Fee ₦60. The winner gets ₦540.
Other cases:
- Equal scores share the prizes of the places they cover. Two players tied for 1st in a 6-player challenge share the 1st and 2nd prizes equally.
- A player who does not play in time cannot win, and their stake stays in the pot.
- In a challenge of 6 or more where only 2 people played, they get 70% and 30%. If only 1 person played, they get everything left after the fee.
- If nobody plays before the time ends, every stake comes back and no fee is taken.
Prizes go into your wallet straight away when the results are final, unless the win is being checked (next section). Amounts are rounded down to the nearest naira.
9. Checks and held wins
To keep challenges fair, every challenge run is checked. The Game records a short trail of the run (time, distance and money every 2 seconds), and our server checks that the score could really have been made that way.
- A run that fails the checks scores ₦0.
- Some wins are held for a person to check before they are paid: wins of ₦5,000 or more, runs that look unusual, and winners who seem linked to another player (for example the same internet connection). Many phones on one mobile network share a connection, so a held win does not mean you did anything wrong.
- Held wins are usually checked within a few hours. You see "We are checking the results" and get an email when it is done.
- If we find cheating, that player is removed from the results and gets nothing, their stake stays in the pot, and the places are worked out again without them.
10. Withdrawing your money
- Open your wallet and tap Withdraw.
- The first time, add your bank account: pick your bank and type your 10-digit account number. The Game looks up the name on the account.
- The account must be in your own name. If the name does not match your Google name, or you change your account later, we check it first (usually within a few hours).
- You can withdraw to one bank account only, and one bank account cannot be used by two players.
- The smallest withdrawal is ₦1,000. A fee of ₦50 is taken from each withdrawal, so ₦1,000 sends ₦950.
- Withdrawals are checked and sent within 24 hours, usually much sooner. You can have one withdrawal on the way at a time.
- If a transfer fails, the full amount comes back to your wallet and we email you.
11. Emails we send you
We email the address on your Google account about:
- Your money (always sent): deposits, withdrawal requests, money sent to your bank, failed withdrawals, wins, held wins, and cancelled challenges with your stake back.
- Challenge reminders (you can turn these off): a challenge has started, less than 30 minutes left to play, and results when you did not win. Turn them off in your wallet ("Challenge email reminders") or with the link at the bottom of any reminder email.
12. Fair play rules
- One person, one account. Do not create or use other accounts, and do not let other people use yours.
- Do not use tools, scripts, modified versions of the Game, or anything else that changes how the Game plays or what it reports.
- Do not team up with other players to fix results.
- Do not use bank accounts or payment cards that are not yours.
If we find that a player broke these rules, we can remove them from challenges, keep their winnings out of their wallet, close money play on their account, and ban the account. Where money in the wallet came from that player's own deposits and is not linked to the rule-breaking, we return it to them, unless the law says otherwise.
13. Play responsibly
- Only play with money you can afford to lose. Never borrow money to play.
- Treat challenges as fun with friends, not as a way to make a living.
- Take breaks. The daily deposit limit (₦20,000) is there to help.
- You can switch real money play off yourself, and lock it for 7 days, in Real money settings (see Who can play).
- If you want us to close money play on your account for longer, or for good, email us and we will do it.
14. Problems and contact
- Paid but the money is not in your wallet? Wait 10 minutes and reopen the Game. If it is still missing, email us with the time and amount of the payment.
- Withdrawal not received after 24 hours? Email us with your bank name and the amount.
- Something looks wrong with a challenge result? Email us with the challenge code (the 6 letters and numbers shown on the challenge, for example 6NRQVV).

Amounts and limits on this page (stakes, fees, minimums and limits) can change. The Game always shows the current amounts before you pay. If we change these rules, we will update this page and its date, and show a notice in the Game for important changes. See also our Privacy Policy.
